Canadian citizens travelling to Korea will not need to apply for the Korean Travel Authorization (K-ETA until December 31, 2025. Apart from Canadians, this exemption has also been granted to 21 other visa-free countries and regions, according to the Ministry of Justice. On the official website of the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Vancouver, the announcement goes thus, “Canadians travelling to the Republic of Korea will continue to enjoy the temporary exemption of the Korea Electronic Travel Authorization, also known as K-ETA, for another year until December 31, 2025. ”
