Over the past number of years, the Dominica government has been successfully working to expand the list of Dominica Visa-free countries.
Roosevelt Skerrit, the Dominica Prime Minister, publicized efforts to agree on visa-free travel with the Republic of South Africa, the United Arab Emirates, and China in 2018.
Moreover, since early 2019, Dominica passport holders can enter Russia as tourists Visa-free for 90 days.
And since the middle of May 2019, Dominica citizens can also travel to Ukraine without requiring a Visa.
On January 1, 2020 Uzbekistan introduced a visa-free agreement for citizens of the Commonwealth of Dominica visiting Uzbekistan for 30 days.
